Leimuidenstraat
For a Vereniging van Eigenaren (VvE or owners association) at the Leimuidenstraat we carried out various tasks.
We carried varying work activities for the building at the Leimuidenstraat. Among other things, we replaced the glass and painted both the front and back of the building. In drawing up the color palette we took into account the colors of the neighboring buildings.
Leak in the double-glazed windows?
In one of the houses the double-glazed window was leaking. If there is a leak in the glass, moisture gets between the glass. This causes condensation to form on the inside of the window. The resulting white haze prevented the residents from looking through the window. At the Leimuidenstraat our professional replaced the leaking glass.
Causes of window leaks
A leak in double-glazed windows can have several causes, for example:
- Manufacturing defect
- Incorrect placement
- Corrosion in the cavity
- Poor maintenance of the window frames
Clear view
After installing the new glass, residents were fortunately able to look outside again. Furthermore, the houses got a proper refurbishment and the portico got an open, clean and welcoming look because of the fresh paintwork. Because of the new paintwork in combination with the color of the beautiful traditional tiles, the building looks like an absolute picture!
