The management of a large owner union on the Anthony Moddermanstraat was looking for a trustworthy party for their maintenance. We started talking about the maintenance of their eight story building and a long term partnership.

Interior and exterior maintenance

When maintenance is overdue, this has great implications for the atmosphere and value of a building. Especially in common rooms, such arrears can lead to a grim ambience. For this big task on the Anthony Moddermanstraat we built scaffoldings in front of al storeys, and spent a total of 12 weeks on repainting all galleries, porches, staircases, and balconies , and removing layers of graffiti. We also did some big scale renovation work on the front: almost half of the armrests have been replaced with powder coated steel plates. Next to all that we also repaired all masonry.

Straightforward communication

When taking on large scale projects such as this, we take on the entire organisation. The owner union management doesn’t have to worry about planning or communication. Groen Schilders starts off by making straightforward agreements with the residents and the management. During the entire process, residents can contact us directly. We like to keep communication as direct as possible.  

Groen as an active long-term partner

Groen is happy to think along: even after our work, we’re still at our clients’ disposal. We contact owner’s we’ve worked with once every year to see if everything is still in order, and to see whether the paintwork is still as good as expected. Together we talk through our client’s wishes and figure out whether our long-term year plan is still up to date.

A beautiful result

The apartment building on the Anthony Moddermanstraat has returned to its original beauty. All residents are happy to come home to such a fresh environment. We’re looking forward to keeping the apartment building in perfect state over the next years!
